Positive Behaviour Support

At Wellard Village Primary School we utilise Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to teach children how we expect them to behave in our environment.

We have a behaviour matrix that reflects our three values: Courage, Compassion and Responsibility. The matrix reflects the context of either inside or outside the classroom.

Each Monday our educators teach the expectation for the week in Morning Circle, and it is then reinforced over the week.

To reinforce our expected behaviour, our staff give faction tokens to our students. Faction tokens contribute to a team reward that students can achieve together, this way we are all working towards a common goal.
